Banner Request for Unit

Recently, my Darkest Hour unit has undergone some drastic changes. Rather than deactivate, we have decided to change names and pursue a different path. We are now formally known as the 82nd AB and will be based in the Battlefield 2 Modification, Forgotten Hope 2.

For record purposes, the previous unit name was the 5th Infantry Division.

We at the 82nd AB are looking for a well made banner to fit our website. The banner would need to be 1050x180.

It would also need to go well with the camo pattern below:


If possible, we would like to have some pictures from WWII with American 82nd AB paratroopers.

I'm off for atleast today and probably tomorrow too so you might have to wait a while, I'll do it if nobody does it in the meantime.

If you can provide some material we can work with, the pictures for example.

The lighter text seems to go better with the background itself. I like the idea of adding in multiple pictures. If possible, could you get them to flow together/blend? A few examples are below:

Ofcourse that's possible, easiest way to make such a banner actually. But for that reason I thought it looked cheesy  :P

It will be all black and white though as every b/w picture is a slightly different kind of black/sepia etc.

Yes; black and white is fine. It gives the image a more authentic look in my eyes

Yes it is, FH2 said so on April 1st 2009.

Anyways, Holmes, time is not on my side. Been a bit busy today and tomorrow I have a full working day so with some luck I can do it Wednesday for you.

Is there a specific picture (with the right size) I should use or do you want a mash-up consisting of several images? In that case, I need more pictures. Tried some stuff but current stock doesn't really fit.

The ones my main focus is on are the C47 w/ paratroopers and then the sky with the hundreds of paratroopers in it. I believe a blend of those 2 would work nicely.
