BTW: use the BAR on planes like the storch, its like magic.
Indeed it works like a charm.

Back on topic..so you'll see the bomb hit the ground and stay there for like 2 seconds? That's idiot.
I had a aquad with 3 STGs and we smoked a Storch  8)
Anyway, fused bombs should be fun and introduce a larger variety into the mod.  Just another set of new tactical opportunities ;)

i have seen in movies when bombs are dropped at low altitudes, the bounce along the ground, moving towards, then they hit something (house, hangar, vehicle) and explode.

dont know how realistic is that, but its kinda cool to have if it is ^^

Very realistic, it was a practice called skip bombing.  THe dam busters used it, and so did a lot of anti-shipping bombers.

I wonder if it would be possible to have it selectable. You could choose between 0s and 1-2s fuse.

(Similar system as single fire/full auto with LMG's)

You cant make it selectable in the way you described

You would add another bomb launcher
Change the coding for the new bomb launchers projectile,so the bomb detonates at the desired time
Give the new bomb launcher an IIN,thats doesnt clash with another weapon
Maglink both bomb launchers,so you still have the same total amount of bombs available
Make a new weapon select icon, showing the time delay for the new bomb
Giving you the choice of default bomb,or timed/fused bomb

There are some minor issues though

NOTE...Detenation delay set high for demonstrational purposes in the video

that looks awesome! can you make them skip bombs?? like bounce on the floor acording to their momentum after drop, that will be sweet

wait. Dam Busters? * light bulb terns on *
that could be a test/ingame map as it would both be a good way to test skip bombing (if it becomes a reality) as they very commonly used skip bombing to destroy dams and the destruction of the dam could work in the bf2 engine as the boot boats work in the bf2 mod battle paint (probably haven't herd of it because its French) and when the weak point gets damaged enough it blows the whole ship up and the one thing about them is that you can walk on them so it isnt just a static that is just waiting to be blown up. it could have a point on them and if hit with one of the bombs it would blow up but to stop it all being too easy the dam would have a few AA guns to compensate and there would be multiple dams so even if the dam busters get past the first dam without a scratch they would also have another one to deal with so the game isnt too short

P.S this would be a very big map but i think the community would like it :P

EDIT:Also to have it so the planes have a fighting chance they would have more armer than normal and it would be called a "Dam Buster" Avro Lancaster"

There is no way to have water from a reservoir drain into a valley after the dam is blown.

errrrrrr no. Although if you can spawn water planes like normal objects, it oculd theoretically work. It would just look shitty.

Water planes can be made destroyable and they have a mesh
with effect coding, you can make the water plane drop in height, the same way i made the hotel drop
then add water effects for the water spilling out
you could also make the land on the lower side of the dam, fill up with water

devilman why arnt you on the FH2 team your work is amazing i mean destructible environments no body that i know has pulled that off it the bf2 engine before  :o

Devilmans accomplishments: Destructible environments, climbable trees, rock slides and deployable MGs *everyones ears prick up * anything Ive missed because that alone is outstanding

Devilman's work was greeted with hostility. Which is a huge shame because his work is really nice and unique. He's even achieved things which the devs said would never be possible..
why greeted with hostility?

Haven't a clue. But it seemed like alot of people just wanted to attack his work. :-\
wait... so the devs dont like him?

not all devs, but his work is mostly used in SP, so for MP it was to be tested to see if it works on a dedi server, and it doesnt couse lag and things like that

well there must be a way to simplify it a bit and make it multiplayer
