FH2 Help / Support / FH2 Download
« on: 24-05-2011, 02:05:43 »
Hello,

My FH2 has been crashing a lot lately, so today I decided to remove it and re-download and reinstall it. Everything has been a success I just wanted to tell you that my pc detected and destroyed a few trojans from the FH2 folder after installing. I used the fileplanet download. Just wandering if you are aware or if it is a big deal.

General Discussion / FH2 Online Annoyances
« on: 13-02-2011, 21:02:29 »
What are the biggest annoyances (especially from other players) when playing FH2 online?

My personal favorite is when someone stands in front of a mortar, without the gunner noticing, and kills them both up when the mortar shell explodes.

Feel free to post any.  :)

Off-Topic / IS-3 vs King Tiger
« on: 22-01-2011, 21:01:39 »
Today I will begin a series of topics over the coming weeks in order to get a logical conversation and debate among the FH2 community about World War II

For my first topic: IS-3 vs. King Tiger (in honor of the recently released update concerning the Eastern Front)

Which tank do you think would win in a one-on-one battle?
Why is the IS-3 better? Why is the King Tiger better?

Enjoy

General Discussion / The Ardennes

Seeing that the new theater will be the Ardennes and the BotB, will you be including fighting in Holland like Operation Market Garden or is it strictly the Ardennes?

Off-Topic / book recommendation
« on: 07-06-2010, 05:06:24 »
I just finished a magnificent book that I was given from my brother for Christmas (Yes I'm a slow reader). It's called The Second World War by Martin Gilbert. I'm sure a few of you have heard of it and hopefully a few of you guys have read it. It is supposedly the greatest compilation of the Second World war ever made so I highly recommend it to any one who is fascinated with WWII or enjoys reading a hardy book filled with every aspect of war.

Each person may cast 3 votes for which battle they believe is the greatest (favorite, most strategically important, important tactically, etc). My votes are for Tarawa (generally seen as the point at which the tide turns fully to the US), Midway (major tactical crush to the Japanese Imperial Navy early in the war), and Okinawa (the final mega-blow to the Japanese, generally ended the war in the pacific Ocean front).

If you want, please say what your votes were for and why you voted for them.

(and for those who dont know much about the Pacific Theater of Operations, The Pacific Ocean Front is not the entire Pacific Theater of war but the area of fighting that was commanded by Nimitz for the Allies!

As you know i screwed up with the previous poll by mixing the subject title with a the wrong question. So here's the poll "Who is the greatest military commander in history?"  Comments are welcome and PLEASE TELL ME PEOPLE YOU WANT ME TO ADD TO THE LIST before voting... thanks   (each voter can cast 6 votes bc there's a lot of options as you can see)

Thought this poll would be appropriate and fit in with the other two polls. I hope the FH2 community enjoys military history. With this one we can be more broad in discussion with the entire Ancient World. Everyone can cast 2 votes and PLEASE TELL ME TO ADD SOMEONE THAT YOU THINK DESERVES TO BE IN THE POLL BEFORE YOU VOTE...

Off-Topic / Military Commanders of the Second World War
« on: 30-05-2010, 02:05:18 »
Not sure if this has been done before on the FH2 forums but I am interested in knowing what people say is the greatest military commander of the Second World War. I also put a very large group of options so that there are no conflicts of people saying their choice is not there... (You may vote 4 times so try to diversify your choices)

General Discussion / Haven't played in 2 years
« on: 09-04-2010, 20:04:15 »
I haven't played FH2 in 2 years, nor have I bothered to look at the website until now. So basically, could someone please explain to me what major changes have occurred in the past year and a half and also, are the devs 100% done with North Africa or is that still WIP?

Thank you
