Sorry if this has been posted, but I looked through all the stickies in this forum and found nothing. The basic problem is this: ever since 2.26 I've been having a problem with my ping. For the first few days FH2 ran fine on all servers, i would get a ping of about 112 on hslan and some others but that was fine. But then all of a sudden, my ping would start to jump to 500 or 1020 at some points. i looked through these forums for someone who's had a similar problem and found that I just had to reinstall FH2 and make sure not to mod it. (adding other maps or whatever that I've found on the internet) So I did that and it ran fine again for a while untill it started doing it again. i tried the same fix but this time it didn't work. I still get my ping jumping to 500 regulary making it impossible to play.

Has anyone else had problems like this?
Is there any fix or is it something with the server?

Yeah none of my bots move either, they spawn and look around. Not even my german team moves. And I CTD when about to get shot at by someone.

I get it's April fools but is anyone else taking those dates mentioned in the letter even semi seriously?

Okay thanks for the reply. I thought I had to clone it since with PR, the minimod I had for that I had to use an old .exe they made for prsp in order for me to not get shader issues. So I thought that the same had to be done for FH2... thanks for the ideas though.

Is it possible for me to clone FH2.exe for my personal SP minimod I use to mod? I already cloned the folder but that uses the FH2.exe and so the only way for me to start my 'fh2_sp' is through the custom games tab, which causes wavy shaders and stuff. The only way for me to do this is to make a new.exe that does the same thing as Fh2.exe but with the 'fh2_sp' files. any idea how to do this?

Yeah I'll take this problem over there. Its very frusterating considering I Transfer maps all the time. Last night I transferred Battleaxe over without one problem. Oh well Thanks anyway guys.

Yes its singleplayer... it is navmeshed... I did edit the right one... And no Im not using any vBF2 weapons or vehicles. Just statics But im sure if it was that it would have given me an error report. Also I do have the P-51 in but if it isn't ai compatible then wouldn't the AI just not use it? I dont think it would crash.

Edit: Okay I took the P-51 out and I tried again and it still crashes. I then tried it in COOP and it worked... But the GPO.con for COOP is still with vBF2 vehicles so no vehicles spawned up.

Edit: Okay I just copied and pasted the GPO.con from singleplayer int the COOP one. I just copied the whole thing, like I opened the GPO.con and pasted the text from SP and it crashed... so Its cuz of something in there. Or is it cuz of something in the SP GPO.con that lets it know its SP?

Edit Again: Okay found out it was some sort of Sherman I put in there "m4a1early_eu"? don't know why but that doesn't work. Now I take that out and everytime I spawn up I get maybe five seconds into the game and it crashes... No error report again.

Thats just it.... I run in windowed mode it doesn't give me an error. Now what I just did was I changed the P47 for a P-51 and I changed the init con back to the German vs American one that I made. but still I crash. I thought it might have been the p-47 because maybe it wasn't ready or something I'm not sure but I don't think that was the problem.

I downloaded a map from the BFSP forums, Kasserine Pass, and i was looking to put it into FH for my fun and personal singleplayer use. Now I played the map in BF2 to see if it worked, which it did, and I just transferred it over into the FH2 levels folder and edited the GPO.con and init.con in order for it to work in FH. the only thing I did different was I took the level settings part of Mareth Line's init.con (just the part with the kits) and replaced the kits in Kasserine pass with that. Also I changed the British Kits and player models to American Ones from I think Operation Luttich. I also changed the part with flags and voices to American. But whenever I load the map I crash when i hit Join game, just before the kit selection pops up and I get no error message. I also tried to switch the American kits to British again but it won't work.... Any ideas on what happened?

for some reason it seems like all the graphics in game are on low even though I run everything on high. I'll go and check my settings and they still say high but whenever im ingame I get these low crappy looking textures. usually after I restart the game does the graphics go back to high but recently this has been happening more and is getting quite annoying. Any ideas on whats happening?

Guys I just have to say great job and KEEP IT UP! All the models, textures and everything look just as professional as the FH Devs' work (which is saying something). I perosnally never got the opportunity to play the first Hungarian Front mod, which sucked because it looked great. But I for one (and I'm sure the community as a whole) can't wait to see this mini-mod included into one of FH2's main releases, and hopefully that day soon comes. It's just great to see that there is still so much activity in the community modding world for this already incredible mod and I am very impressed by what I see. So keep plugging away Hungarian mod team! and Join the Dev Team! lol... I mean, the devs are always looking for more modders right? what better way to find some than in a community organization that specializes in modding your mod. Keep up the Good work 8)

Oh and while on the subject of FH mini-mods, what ever happened to Norwegian Resistance 2? the follow up to the FH1 mini-mod, that one looked just as promising as this, and it would be such a shame to let it go to waste. Community mods can do wonders for the mod as a whole

Quick question: on the screenshot with the Stuka-zu-Fuß firing its rockets, it looks like there is an MG 34 mounted on the back. Now I'm by no means a military historian, so I'm directing this question to someone like VonMudra or Megaraptor, but shouldn't there be an MG 42 mounted on the back? Or was the 34 still used for roles like that... or maybe im wrong completly and that is a 42

Just got back from vacation and wow awsome update, even glad to see that Megaraptors post didn't go unnoticed in the bug reporting forum and the correct Canadian flags are being used in game (even though the minimap still shows the red leafed ones, green leaves are historically correct from what megaraptor has siad) :)

Just one comment, I always never really liked those flag poles in the middle of the streets and all, it just kinda too away from the immersion of the map. That why i LOVED it when the devs figured out how to make them hanging off buildings and what not. And i just think that this map could use just a tad more of that... Other than that tho this map looks and sounds amazing, yay Canada! and I can't wait for 2.2 keep up the great work devs.
