2.26 bren is now useful again.  Also, yes the kit does have a webley.
Funny, I can use the 2.25 Bren with great success. And the new Bren... well, that would beleaking.
Maybe but No.4 still does the work 10 times better, hell its actually even better for suppressing.
this^

you cant even use the Brengun anymore for supressive fire. The gun kicks up in the air after only 2 rounds fired

the problem mostly came due to the new deviation system in 2.25.

I love the Bren for it's rifle like ability to shoot on semi-auto and still gives you survivability in close quarters, but I hate the sights. Like on of the previous posters, I lose track of targets completely. But I have the same thing with the cirkel-sight of the No.4 rifles, and the Lewis sight is just a round hole as well.
Is there some British design aspect to it, to have such a thick and round ironsight? I mean, IRL, does it make aiming easier or something? Or is it a design flaw?

IRL, the peep sights are tiny holes.  But the way you focus on them means they are very blurry and you can see quite a lot through them.  Their advantage is that it is very instinctive to find the centre of a circle, and that is where you put the front sight.

those peepsights work great in RL but they just dont work in games
thats why in most games (also fh2)  those sights get heavily modified.
those holes get alot bigger so players can see through them and have better vision.

in real live those sight make your eye much more focused on the target making it easier to take good aim.
in games those kind of sight block your view making it harder to aim.
here an example with the M1 garand
Real live sight

ingame sight in BF1943

ingame brothers in arms

cod2

fh2 also has this

i think from before 2.25 to 2.25 the hole in the rearsight of the m1 thompson got alot bigger making the sight usefull compared to before where you couldnt see anything through it.

@ Die Happy:

Which Brothers In Arms game is that picture from? I played 3 of 'm but can't recall the crashed bomber (B-24?) from any one of 'm.

i dont know
i just googled for brothers in arms m1 garand and this poped up

i guess it is from some console or even wii , nintendo DS or something considering the low resolution and bad graphics

could be something else though
but ALL games make these compromises between realism and playability

In real life the peephole is a lot more user friendly i find. I can shoot a lot more accurate with my Enfield then with my Mauser, and with my dad it is the other way around so it must also depend from person to person. All i can say is that with the peephole i see a lot more of what is around me then with the Mauser sight. That is the 100 yards peephole on the Mk1 sight, the variable distance peephole is just tiny and you only see long distance. On the Mk2 sight the 100 yards and 300 yards setting are equally simple. Have to buy a Mk3 sight one day, but i think it will be like the Mk1. (The lee enfield No4 Mk1 (wich i own) had 3 different rear sights during the war, the Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3

Admitted the brengun issent as good on long range suppresive fire as the MG's, but the bren is simply far more handy in one shot-sniping and Close range combat.

To be honest, having lugged and used a bren gun at the last reenactment in May, I can officially say that the sights in FH2 are a LOT less blocking then in real life.  IRL, you can see basically nothing BUT the sights.
