Getting epically pwned by a Puma, what should I do

Okay, so on luttich I was in a M10 killing enemy tanks (1 hit KO for most german tanks).  ;)
Then comes the Puma who started to run circles around me, I couldn't do a thing because the turret + body refused to turn as fast as the Puma.
It was torture because I tried everything and it seemed like he was just toying with me, after a few circles he decided to put me out of misery by putting a shell up my bottom. >:(

So.... any advice on how to deal with that? ;D

The Puma moves so fast that unless you're really good with the bozooka, you won't be able to hit it.

But I guess I can tell my friends to go 10 meters on either side of me and act like an Early warning system so I can turn my turret and get ready to shoot first.

Still, I fear the puma more than the panther sometimes.

Increase your mouse sensitivity so you can follow him.

follow by using your engine, be carefull for trees though cause youll get stuck.

Have the M5 (ideally, as the M8 is better left to ambush Stugs and PzIVs) escort you, a single hit from its fast 37mm will destroy it.

Only if they catch me first. Usually I prefer to be in my cute Stugy IV, ambush tanks in main roads so they dont get into towns and stuff. It can do wonders.

I love the Puma. Its my number one selection whenever it is available. It can be highly dangerous to anything Allied can throw against it due to its alright ammunition and especially due to its speed. I just love hit and run with that thing. Speed is the key.

How to counter a Puma on the other hand. Well, you should always be aware of your surroundings and try to avoid places where the Puma can get away easy. Since the Puma cannot reverse that fast, if you run to it on a narrow road surrounded by Hedgerows, you shouldnt have any problems against it. Main thing is to avoid going into huge open fields all by yourself. The puma is excellent at ambushing and then running away to hit you another time from somewhere else. Ambush the Puma, dont let it ambush you.

Even they are deadly in the hand of bots.

In open fields, it lost its charm against real tanks, unless it can really dodge a bullet with its nimbleness. In narrow fields, it cannot be that nimble to avoid ambush.

In your case, you are in M10, which have a very slow turret turn rate. Just never do any head-to-head fight with other vehicles with that thing. The key with M10 is never to let the enemy get close, yes, especially fast movers, Puma and Kubelschrek.

I was playing the luttich, and my M10 was the only tank defending farm.
I hid behind the base(south of the base) waiting to ambush enemy tanks, I had already destroyed 2 stugs and a panther. My friend even spotted the Puma before it came to me but it was already too late as by the time my friend finished talking the puma was already 5 meters beside me. It runs faster than my friend talk  :o

Sounds like a legit solution! I just hope M10 is BEAST enough to take down a puma
