Allegedly Russia sent T-34/85s and SU-100s from stock-reserves to Ukraine in January this year. Can somebody confirm that? Or is it a hoax?

This is a complete and utter bullshit. Those T-34s and SU-100s were a part of parade in celebration of lifting the Siege of Leningrad (27 January 1944). Those photos were taken on the railway platform of Sertolovo in Leningrad Oblast. Then they were sent to Rostov for the next Victory Day parade. It was on local news (in Russian): http://www.tv100.ru/news/neskolko-desyatkov-tankov-i-samohodnyh-orudij-stoyat-na-zheleznodorozhnyh-platformah-v-sertolovo-104531/
http://www.fontanka.ru/2015/01/26/148/

Btw, here is the video of parade with these vehicles from last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgW4hG19wt8

Whenever you read extraordinary news, you could do a quick reality check. (Occam, where's your razor?) As long you have endless stockpiles of semi-viable Cold War era tanks, sending WW2 tanks that can be penetrated from the sides by a modern rifle grenade to a warzone would be beyond retarded. Especially so if you want them to act as main battle tanks - and the light tank concept was long ago outdated and replaced by recon vehicles and IFV's.

Sure, I can envision T-34's and Shermans still slugging it out in the remote part of some particularly poor and backward developing country, but not much elsewhere, unless we're talking some sort of "Der Untergang" scenario when everything that still moves will be used until it cannot move.

It may be bullshit in that instance, but mayor of Donetsk ordered museums to give weapons months ago.

This is the technical data of the crashed plane:

http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20150324-0

So, was it D-AIPX msn 147?

So far, there has been 2 planes written off where I have been on board before. One is PK-AXC doing "QZ8501" route. It is the AirAsia Indonesia Airbus A320 plane that plunged into the sea on December 2014. The other is Singapore Airline's 9V-SPK "Tropical Megatop" Boeing 747-400 that crashed in Taipei when flying as "SQ006" on September 2000.

Some of you might remember how I was talking about my Bachelor's on armour penetration a while ago. Well, I finished it with the highest possible grade. I'm guessing some of you might be interested in it. If you wish to read it, I've made it available here (as a pdf):

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4T58AvzhnzaSEx2UmFTNWlES3c/view?usp=sharing

It was originally written in Finnish but I translated it to English (so it might sound a bit silly at time and have some mistakes). If you wish the read the original one in Finnish, you can do so here:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4T58Avzhnzabk1PVVVQYXA2NXM/view?usp=sharing

I don't know if Google Drive lets you download the thing or if it is even comfortable to read through there. So if you want a downloadable copy, I might arrange one for you.

Thanks, a bit too mathematical for me, but interesting anyway. Drive lets you download it easily, btw.

Most of the math is there just for show and support. You can pretty much skip every equation and you'll still understand what the text is about. The 3rd chapter is the only exception.

Last night I was drunk and I got home real late and I wanted to play Age of Empires II but instead of opening Steam I accidentally opened Microsoft Powerpoint and that was just the biggest buzzkill of all time.

I met my crush randomly on the air port when I was going back to town after easter. We live in the same city. We have been friends for 7+ years (feelings for her has come this past year) We talked for a while before boarding. I was seated in the back, she was in the front of the plane. When we landed she got out first. I had to wait for my bagage, she didnt have any. after I fetched it, I sent a message asking where she went. I got this response.

>Hahaha I ran for the bus  :p Tried looking for you!

I was mildly disappointed and angry and did not respond.

Both had to take that bus, and she said earlier before the flight she was hungry and wanted to get back to her flat fast to eat.

Is it normal for girls to gtfo and not wait for their friends? She's a bit shy, but nothing out of the ordinary. I know I would have waited if I was in her shoes (even if i did not have a crush for the person I waited for)

I feel this is a solid no-go. Prioritizing a bus that fucking goes every 10 minutes over me. A girl remotely interested would have waited right? I'm fucking going insane thinking about it. I hate being in love.

Hjaldr, if your 7 year old friend likes to Fuck you over like this this means you have allowed her from some point earlier.

Now I can't say I really know you considering we haven't spent all that much time talking about personal matters but if you consider yourself to be passive you should reconsider your way of life or choice of friends, because what she did is unacceptable and if this is becoming common you're in deep.

IMO, you have to make it known you're extremely pissed, if it doesn't ring any bells you should cut your ties ASAP and find other friends you actually deserve.
