I don't know if that was irony, I took it from a different direction.

Then my answer is no, I wouldn't have agreed.
If I were given the power to alter physical space just once in my life, it would've been wasted on sending my arms strangle those guys through the screen.

You would have agreed and would have ended up on the FH deathlist with those guys?

Was that irony?

How glad I am that I wasn't on the server when that guy wrote that.

The radio operater's view to the front was pretty much only BY the optics of the MG anyways.... ;)

Quite a few tanks had a fixed viewport for the hull-MG gunner, usually next to the driver's.

Brest.

I like Ramelle, but it feels cheesy. And is way too narrow around the bridge. Past the bridge (on the US side) it takes 1mn to sprint from north to south, and usually ends in a stalemate with germans and US firing at each other from 3-4 different windows. Thank god there aren't any riflegrenades on this map.
Still a nice, detailled map, and seeing Marders and Tigers stuck in street fighting is quite a change.
Just needs to be a bit larger.

I like St Lô, but the lack of cover is very frustrating. I spend more time driving an APC/truck and dying on the way than actually fighting. It feels very bland too. When I heard about the hill, I didn't think it'd be so flat; it's like Lebisey minus the town.

Brest is great. Narrow, but once the US get in the city (if that ever happens), the playground extends a bit. The fights around the fountain, using tanks as cover are intense, and the teams usually stay together. There's alway someone to cover you, to follow you in a building. I just love it, but some more enterable buildings and the Panzer IV spawning a bit later would make it even better (a good Pz IV driver can ruin the US's day and win the battle right from the start).

Which map has the mobile arty?

Seen it on Totalize and Villers.

And its amazing how nobody seemed to crack it despite it is quite easy to decrypt.  :-X

Perhaps because no one even tried?
I would have if I knew it was something that simple, but I expected those complicated combinations you used the previous times.

No way. I expected something un-guessable like the previous releases.

To the devs: Don't use simple series of numbers as passwords, a number of .rar password recovery programs can find those quite easily.

Oh man. Why must you make the wait so painful?!

Yes, it was the standard AA gun, supplanting the 37mm M1.  And no, the 50cal's just supplemented the bofors in US service.  The bofors remained the main rapid fire AA gun due to its much longer range and far more destructive ammo (by 1944, most fighters and bombers could shrug off 50cal gunfire reasonably well, but no fighter would remain in air with one or two 40mm hits).

And no, its not towing a quad 50 trailer, the trailer will be stationary IIRC.

Thanks for the info.

Also:
Who told you people the changelog is released on Friday? It will go out on Wednesday along with some other stuff.

Nice.
