 Watch it Smiles,

talking about 'manly bears' opens a whole can of worms that you may not want to be part of...

Inside joke that I am positive Mudra will enjoy.

 @ theta,
drinking mud or gasoline has the same effect as Starbuck's. I have only been to Scotland but I choked when I saw how much they charge for what amounts a cheap cup of brown water. Seriously, make your own or support a local coffee shop that actually takes pride in what they serve and even knows how to spell "large" on the side of a cup.

hehe, I never told you what to drink.

i just voiced the opinion that Starbuck's coffee is shite. I live in Vancouver, so we got tired of Starbuck's around here well before you ever heard of it.

Although, I will say that the original shop in Seattle has a certain charm. It has a wooden mermaid with exposed breasts (quite risque when they first opened). It's right by the Pike Place market and the location is one of the neatest places that I have ever visited.

Just don't eat outside of Ivar's, the gulls will tear you apart.

Hi, I think the spiders begin amassing on your location. It seems the number keeps on growing.

Or is it the summer effect? Keep in mind, that spider species mostly affected by the summer are commonly burrowing ones, which tries to escape the heat on the ground by venturing into cooler location (normally inside an insulated house). In Australia, this kinds of spiders are usually the most poisonous ones, e.g. Sydney Funnel Web spiders. Luckily, despite staying over a year in the northern suburbs, I never met any of those.

I've noticed primarily grass spiders for the moment, fortunately.

We do get black widows and other fun things, like vinegaroons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinegaroon)

The bug guy came by for his biyearly spray of the house, so that ought to put a stop to the spiders.
On the brightside, my fear of spiders has considerably lessened since this started.

On a related note to the vinegaroons, one summer a few years back, we had a swarm of them in the backyard.

Hundreds upon hundreds of these things, dead in the pool, and then hiding elsewhere, not a fun summer.

I don't know about Belgian Starbucks, but Austrian Starbucks tasted like sugary death. It felt like we were breaking some unwritten law when we went to Starbucks in Vienna, a city with amazing coffee culture, but we just had to try what all the fuzz is about. I found no answer that question.

As for Coca-cola, the only country that doesn't use the original recipe is the country that the recipe came from; USA. They use corn syrup as sweetener instead of Sucrose.

Your mass-produced soda is top 3 in the world, huh? That such a ranking even exists is kind of depressing.

Air temperature few hours ago: +29°C
Dew point: 18°C

Now the wind is rising and it's starting to rain. Temperature fell quickly to 23°C.

Yeah, it's going to be a nice thunder storm. First of the summer.. it was about the time.
