FH2 crashes to desktop right after loading a map.

Me too, I have Windows XP 32bit. They told me that after the new update, some maps like Sidi Rezegh or Alam Halfa (which didn't work before) will work after the update, but they just don't. Sidi rezegh have a picture and crashes after the loading ends, Alam Halfa doesn't have a picture and crashes the game even before the loading shows up.

I played they both in single player, I don't play MP because I haven't played all the maps yet

Not all maps work in SP, so you're kind of lost here...

If your game crashes (BSOD, desktop crash) many time during playing read this post. Maybe it will help you too.

Same problem here on Windows 8. BF2, PR, and Alpha Project work, but not FH2 for some reason. Oddly enough, one day it just seemed to suddenly stop working, haven't been able to play since.
