FH2 crashes to desktop right after loading a map.

I just install part 1 and 2 of FH2 and the new update I select a map it loads and the join game button appears four a moment then it crashes to the desktop...

Yes I have 1.50 and 1.41 installed, i have a PC.

Are you absolutely sure you have installed the files in correct order?

- BF2 1.41
- BF2 1.50
- FH2 2.2 file 1
- FH2 2.2 file 2
- FH2 2.25

If you have, then I've got no idea what could be causing this problem. I can only direct some guys who know more about the technical stuff than I do.

well I did part one and two then I did the new patch but I stopped it part way through and restarted it later....

have the same problem!!! since today its very hard to play... it will crash to desktop at loading or suddenly in the game... its since the new patch... I have vista... but the big problems have start today and i dont changed anything... I understand it...  pls help

I uninstall FH2 then I reinstalled part 1 and then part 2 then I loaded a map and it worked fine, then after that I installed the new patch and it stopped working again...

Try playing normal BF2 if it works you're good, if not you may have to reinstall

I think I just figured it out, I tried only single player (witch stopped working anyway for bf2 and the mods I have download) and co-op. I think the co-op server wasn't updated so that's why it crashed because I just tried a multiplayer server and it worked. So someone make a updated co-op server!

I thought about making the new topic but i have this problem now, and god know whats causing it, its just happens out of the blue after i came back off holiday its really really odd.

I had the same problem after installing win 7 64bit. What worked for me was to turn off the themes of the desktop. Aero etc stuff just into basic Windows kinda theme.

when opening a map i get sent back to the desktop i have bf2 1.5 installed correctly and fh2.4 installed correctly i have windows 7
