Got my sig?

Yeah, tried Hurtgen and Vossenack both work great. On Hurtgen the AI seems more aggresive than on some of the default Coop maps. I like being able to hide in the trenches or behind trees. Vossenack, the AI was bunched up at first with their tanks and APC around the first spawn point but then started to move out after being shot at or the enemy AI captured their first flag. Both maps I played on the German side.

Thanks. I played Meuse River again last night and it crashed around 15 minutes into the match. I was winning to. But it seems to be random crashes as I avoided mounting any vehicles or armour and stationary guns this time and had just respawned crossing the middle bridge on the map towards the middle flag.

I get a crash on Meuse River Line. The other map plays perfect but Meuse crashes. I've only played it once so far but it did crash. Is there any glitches in Meuse I should look out for?

No, you need to simply unzip the main RAR to have the 2 files inside i.e one RAR and .CON file in your FH2 root folder.

I guess its my mistake, that .CON will automatically replace the original .CON (always backup first) so you needn't do anything apart from unzipping it there.

Thanks. That seemed to fix the problem on PHL 64 for now.

Have you seen this thread?

http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=6599.0

Yes, still crashes when I join a server. I think its registry key related.

Can you connect to a Battlefield 2 server?

No, it crashes also. What should I do?

Reinstall BF2, when installing make sure you always install Punkbuster too.

I was afraid you'd say that.

Did you put the files in the correct place? i.e the root folder of FH2?
Did you change your serverarchives.con to include the said files?

I would advice deleting the minimod and reapplying it :-|

Well, what i did was open the main rar file, inside the main rar file was a objects rar that had a weapons folder. I unziped the weapons folder to the main FH 2 directory and serverarchives.con there as well. But I after reading your post I think I was suppose to unzip the entire objects rar file to the main FH 2 directory? However, the serverarchives is installed correctly I believe.

Hi. I installed Devilman's Lafette fix for mg's but I still get constant crashing on Purple Heart Lane x64 after about just a few minutes of play? Seems like after the US caps the second flag and goes for the third down the lane somewhere near the mg nests in the field to the right or left it crashes everytime. Any suggestions?

Did you try running FH2 in windowed mode like I suggested in your other thread`?

Yes. Just the BF2 crashed window nothing else appears.

What are your system specs?
What operating system do you use?

Windows 7 64 Bit
Intel 3.00 ghz Quad 2 Core
4 G RAM
Nvidia 460 GFX with 1 G of RAM

Have you installed everything in correct order?
BF2 patches 1.41 + 15 and then FH2 2.3?

Yes, installed in that order. I have rebuilt my PC and I believe the registry key is missing as another member pointed out. Can I re-install FH 2 instead of BF 2 and the patches? It's a lot of work and time. Or can I enter the missing registry key somehow? If so where can I get the registry key script from?

Also, I ran in window mode as suggested but the only error box I get is BF2.exe crashed. Would you like to report this to the FH2 team? That's it...

Try running the game in windowed mode by adding "+fullscreen 0" without the quotes in the shortcut to FH2.
After that you might be able to see an error-window and if you do please post this here.

The only message or window I get is "FH2 crashed would you like to report the crash to the FH2 team?"... something box.

That's it. However, I can provide a event error message from my event viewer, would that help?

Actually any folder outside the two "Programs" folders will do as well.
But Coop Maps are like SP maps and they aren't all finished so most likely you will have some that can crash.

Yes, I have it installed in my D:\ drive (C:\ is where Win7 is for me) and in a custom folder that is not the Programs Folder.

I still can't get online so have been playing a lot of Coop. Certain maps do crash - I knew this before - for example, Totalize, Lebisey and Cobra. Others run great, Mareth Line, Siege of Tobruk, Sidi Rezegh.

Before, I didn't know if it was the map crashing due to bugs or lack of RAM on my side. Now I know the answer - it's the map. My Event Viewer doesn't mention a memory crash of any kind as a possible cause but a faulty application - FH2.

Nothing is perfect and I know most if not all FH 2 users play FH 2 for PVP rather than SP. I just can't get online for some reason? When I click on a server in the list my game crashes to the desk top?
