Help with translation to german
« on: 02-10-2013, 22:10:45 »
Hi,

Could use some help here from some nice soul! I usually order my camera gear from Germany due to much better prices. Though one of my recent orders haven't been shipped and seems to be stuck in "processing", since my purchase a week ago. All the gear is in stock.

I know this store is reliable but the none german support have been so-so according to some people, but I've used them before without any problems so this hic up doesn't give me any shivers, yet.

So can anyone help me just translate this simple text for me, to german? I don't want to use google translator and mess up.

---

Hi,

Is there a problem with my order, since it has been stuck in processing (In Bearbeitung) for the last week? Even though every item is in stock and have been paid for with my Mastercard.

Thanks!

---

Cheers.

I should point out that Bearbeitung is closer to meaning "working" than it is to processing. If I find the time I'll translate this for you, but it won't be perfect.

In Processing would be a better translation. My Germans suck though, but how about this

"Hey Hanz how about I invade your country this time, send the camera MOtherfucker!"

Lots of Hugs,

Hi,

gibt es ein Problem mit meiner Bestellung? Anscheinend ist sie seit letzter Woche in Bearbeitung, obwohl jeder Gegenstand auf Lager ist und ich mit Mastercard bezahlt habe.

Danke!

Guten Tag!
Mein Name ist [insert name here]. Ich habe am [insert date here] eine Bestellung bei ihnen aufgegeben. Meine Kundennummer lautet [insert customer number here]. Die Rechnungsnummer lautet [insert invoice number here].

Just asking, is everyone who gave a translation native speaker?
"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that..."

Depends on whom you are addressing.
Do you use formal language when mailing your co workers?

No, but to a person whom I do not know I certainly would.

Take Dukat´s version, it´s much more polite.
He got banned for our sins. He was not the member FH forums deserved, he was the member we needed.

Afaik both Ts and Dukat are Germans, so I'd say yes.

Great! So they replied now and all is fine. It was shipped already on tuesday but my account, for some reason, never got updated with shipping ID etc.

Shop in question was Foto-erhardt.com
