Battlefield 1942
« on: 30-12-2012, 14:12:14 »
I have always loved Battlefield games. But this one is still my most remembered one. I remember first then i downloaded battlefield 1942 multiplayer demo from download.com. The year was 2007. Back then i was in 4th grade. I remember every time i came back from school i went and sit behind my laptop and played battlefield 1942 from 3pm to 10pm. I still remember that one thursday then my parents went to sleep early and i sneaked downstairs to play more battlefield 1942. I played from 12:00 to 6:30am. On that night i wasnt tired at all somehow. 6:30am i fell asleep. I only slept 30 minutes. 7:00 am my mother woke me up and i had to go to school. Luckily I only had 4 lessons on Fridays. On the third lesson i started feeling very wierd and my forehead got warm. I was very shy back then and i was very scared to ask teacher if i could go to the doctor. After 4th lesson i was feeling so sick that i couldnt even walk. I had to walk 2 kilometers to get to home. I checked my temperature when i got home and I had 38,5 degrees. I guess i learned my lesson that i should not play that long and gotta take breaks every now and then.  I remember that demo verision of battlefield 1942 multiplayer only had Wake Island map. That was and still is my favourite Battlefield 1942 map.
Btw ive got Battlefield 1942 Gameplay episode that i am starting. You can see the first episode over here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgY-CYS0Vc8

The best LP of this game and one of my favorites of all time is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y0eW_gkLxk (77 Episodes)

Contrary to the majority of LPs on youtube this guy knows what he's doing which makes it really enjoyable and I learned quite a bit when I watched it some years ago. I only played RTS's online before so that really helped me to have a good start in the FPS online world.
