Early morning, so yes, it was already light. And the fact that it was a victory with heavy losses for the Germans shows that they should have done it at an earlier time.

If I recall/remember correctly, indeed.
Haha yes, Monty Python has so much influence on culture.

From experience I think we need it alot. I remember many Ventrillo chats about it.
"Hes in West Village"
"What building?"
"The left one."
"East or West?"
"What? No the one with the mortar!"
Meanwhile the enemy guy got away pretty fast I guess.

New rules say there cannot be a revolting against any cause. Pity. Now I wish we had a spam forum.

Exiled Gamers is now the forums for the old FileFront clan. And they provided a home for anyone needing a forum after GF disappeared. I would call it anything but work for nothing.

The British had, during Operation Compass, the following vehicles available:

- 2 Pounder
- 25 Pounder
- Universal Carrier
- Bedford Truck OYD
- Daimler Dingo
- Vickers Light Tank MkVI
- A13 Cruiser MkIV
- A12 Matilda III (None used at Beda Fomm)
- Hawker Hurricane (only 1 operational)

The Italians had:
- M13/40 (Only during the later stages, none in the 'battle of the camps')

It's a shame really, but Forgotten Hope 2 is really missing out on a lot of Italian vehicles, which makes it awfully hard to create a map with them, especially a tank map in the early stages of the North African battlefield. It's so bad even, that for early battles, such as the 'battle of the camps' we have no Italians vehicles at all...

What Italian tanks are missing out which played a major role? I know about the little tankette that also acted as a nasty flamethrower but are there any more? My knowledge about Italian tanks is lacking.
I'm curious what tanks they used at the battle of the camps, if they had any there.

Well theres a big part just too shorten messages (AFK, BRB, AFAIK, IIRC) but the others just appear in crazy moods? I've also wondered about this, the internet dialect :P

It saddns me that there are so many people that dislike crete. It's my fave map. It can be awesome when you play it right.
Me too. I love the infantry combat on it. And another thing to love this map is FJ tactics. It's a challenge to fly with your belly on the water then go really high and bail with your men. Ah I love parajumping in FH2  ;D
Anyways, it's an epic map for FH2.

This is meaner then mean. Some people would kill for a spot as betatester and now someone who can play in the beta says he doesn't like it that much.
  :(

Oh Fuchs, now you are reading too much into it, as Donutz&Point put it so nicely, it's just the loss of anticipation that testers and new devs feel. :) You can't dream on how the new release will rock...ok you always dream of the next small patch which is quite nice for me... but other than that you have to wait and wait and be patient and always remember that everything is still WIP (even if it already looks sweet) and sometimes you wish so desperately to be able to play with the public that it hurts.  :-[

Anyway get ready for a true bomb when Normandy hits you!  ;D

Well I didn't take it really serious, I actually wanted to add something about 'thats a bad April fools joke' or something like that but I forgot that it seems. Well anyways, I'm jealous at you testers but I also like digging up new stuff like those screenshots etc. and just waiting for devs and tester to reveal something.
Though we need an update. Tomorrow maybe? Just show off some ingame content is already ok, just like the prowling Tigers :D

I thought about creating it but waited for you Zweig  :)
Anyways, stopped my campaign with Russia. I already have all the territories required and it's still 1755 so I have to wait another 45 years before the campaign is over, that took me too long.
Played with the Provinces for a short moment but then decided to take Great Britain. I am currently kicking native American arses around Rupert's Land. Send an army to Montreal and Quebec to liberate the Canadians from the evil French. And I think I will start an Operation Overlord against France. Since I only need to capture 2 regions to conquer European France. But first colonial expansion, my economy is not yet full grown and it costs alot of money to have multiple big armies.

U know,
playing the beta isnt as great as you might think, you get to watch everything unfold and develop.

To be honest i miss the days of waiting for sundays updates, new renders and screens. Sitting in my chair day dreaming what awsomness normandy will bring.

Any other devs or testers feel the same way i do?
