Map Lighting Question
« on: 07-03-2010, 20:03:05 »
Okay I feel kindof embarrased asking this but, is it possible to change the atmosphere of a map. For example on the map Point du Hoc its overcast but is it possible without downloading anything to make that map nice and sunny. (I STRICTELY play singleplayer only and I hate cloudy dark maps.)

Please don't write any negative comments.

P.S. Point du Hoc is the only map I want to change and I don't know if you need like BF2 Editor to do it because BF2 Editor doesn't work for me.

It's possible if you setup BF2 editor properly with right lightmap samples and stuff and exctract your map properly and figure out some cool lightmap settings, rather big job. Read some tut's here, I think with those you can get pretty far

There's no quick way to do it

Unluckily there is no easy way to do this. As kummitus said, you'll have to go into editing/mapping to change this.
