Went to France, Belgium and the Netherlands on a battlefield pilgrimage.

Will return but I don't plan on spending as much time exploring trenches and bunkers. It really cuts into museum time and drinking.

Bayeux = fun for being so close to all the beaches
Dieppe = Beautiful but very eery to walk in places where so much blood was spilled in 1943 (the Polish need a better memorial on the boardwalk)
Ypres = amazing, except for incredibly shitty customer service almost everywhere that I went (except Les Halles, it was an awesome bar full of drunk Welshmen and hot women)

AND...

Flushing/ Vlissingen = crazy fun town, good bars (Speyk I love you) and great food. It was awesome to get a real cup of coffee but it was even better to come home and drink the real stuff for a change.

I don't understand some things that you Euro's do though...

1) Why do French dudes not wash their hands after using the bathroom and why do people insist on shitting in the urinals there?
2) Large cup of coffee, nuff said
3) Can anyone in Western Europe make a hamburger to save their lives? Ypres burger was the closest facsimile that I could find but McDonald's was still better.
4) Why is your beer so cheap? Except for Le Curling in Dieppe, everywhere that I went to charged the same price for water as they did for beer.

Highlights:
Vimy Ridge and Beaumont-Hamel memorials
Severloh's position at Omaha beach (well preserved and fun to explore every bunker)
Bunker group photo in Dieppe, then a chance meeting with the son of the local Maquis commander (he showed us the old tunnel access from his house into the cliffs)
Meninpoort ceremony in Ypres, I got to parade in honour of my fallen countrymen and knocked back free drinks for the rest of the night courtesy of the South Wales Borderers
Uncle beach dedication in Flushing (Spitfire flypast, Dutch Marine landing demonstrations, met many veteran's)
Middelburg town hall, I played a short set in the top floor reception hall and spent the rest of the day drinking beer and hanging out with people from the "Keep them Rolling" vehicle association.

And most notably, thank you Dutchie's for the amazing hospitality and the next time we go as a group, We plan on giving out 20 000 poppies instead of the measly 10 000 that we had on hand.

Special mention to the Belgian's for creating the world's best beers, you should consider exporting them one of these days because it beats the pants off almost anything that I can find in Vancouver.

You can find old mustangs for that price but what screws you Euros is the shipping, brokerage, customs, duties and of course the different petrol standards and ministry of transport certification.

I know this first hand as I used to work for a guy who shipped Harley davidsons to the Netherlands and sold them on to very rich (and generally naive) men and women across the continent.

We would buy scrapped motorcycles for less than a few thousand, rebuild them and then flip them for tens of thousands. It was shipping and environmental controls that was normally more expensive than the vehicle itself.

Darn shame too. Tbh I'd rather have Juno than Gold just because of lumberjack commandos.

You can get lumberjack commando's just as soon as we get the gaylord sauna kit for the Finns that is represented by a naked dude who swats his opponents with a birch branch.

Juno would be interesting to have but the Canadians landed on that beach virtually unopposed.

P.S. There were no Canadian commandos and almost every single Canuck who served in the Second World War came from urban areas that are very much removed from your bullshit lumberjack meme.

Go smoke some fish Flippy,

Why don't you just send him a personal message in this forum.

I have been for several rides in vintage tracked and wheeled vehicles and some of them can move like bats out of hell.

In fact, I was at a parade some years ago and an older gentlemen got his artillery hauler moving so fast that the cops gave him a speeding ticket.

I think the problem lies in the vehicle code as we never had this issue with older versions of Fh2.

For Commonwealth troops, motorcycles were used as dispatch messengers and occasionally as advance recce elements but only when absolutely necessary.

Another concern that I have always had with 762 is...

Why are you making rules that the dev team never put in place themselves?

Can't this community imagine if Lightning or Lobo (miss him to death) told them to stop with all their tom, dick and fuckery?

This is a sandbox game, don't ever tell me how to play...

10
I stopped playing on 762 because they have perverted the rules to suit themselves.

I have never cheated or fucked around in Fh2 yet I, like many hundreds (if not thousands) of players no longer play and the admin team of 762 has certainly played a role in discouraging the playerbase that should not be over looked.

Explain the screenshot above 762 team, if you are holders of the moral highground.

First off, my heartfelt congratulations to Slayer for acquring a new home for his soon to be newborn daughter.

Second at Muddy, super best wishes on your honours. It seems like only so recently that you had concerns about even being able to afford school, let alone to graduate with honours. Now you can enjoy all the hard work of paying off that mountain of debt.

Finally at Damaso,

Get in there and stop talking to random strangers about going to pound town.

In the immortal words of 2 Live Crew " Face down, Ass up, that's the way we like to fuck"

On a personal front, I have nothing happy to report but I am looking forward to getting back in the game with you guys soon.

Give him a serious dose of Joual boys,

then let his prof figure out whether PJ is wrong or has just learned to speak like a peasant.

As an anglophone of Quebecois descent, I have never really found much of a difference apart from the slang and accentuation of the language. Even within Quebec, there is a massive range of accents, depending on your cultural heritage, location and even racial identity (ie: Nunavik French versus Mohawk English, repeat ad nauseum).

 Happy Birthday Anthy,

My apologies for being absent but life got in my way big time. I will be back sometime soon, perhaps on the same night that Carrion reappears.

Peace it out y'all (looking forward to the new patch)

The Russians standardized their ammunition types in order to ease logistic pressures. it has nothing to do with worn out tools.

An added bonus is that a 7.62 is generally sufficient to shred anything apart and if they were to ever duke it out with NATO, it comes in handy when they can use their opponents ammunition.

It is absolutely real,  the MH-53 Pave Low is regularly trained in the Israeli and US forces for air-air refueling. The important part is maintaining sufficient airspeed so that the C-130 (or other aerial tanker) doesn't drop out of the sky.

Lots of helicopter types (even Chinook's) can be air refueled but not every country has the ability to do it. It takes balls and skilled pilots on both ends.
