FH2 Communty advertisement

) I mean this popup that shows when you finished with loading FH2 and logged into the game.


This advertisement still shows "download fh2.3" which is quite old.
If this could be updated regulary it would attract people to visit the fh page and forum more often.
As the update is coming closer I think everykind of advertisement should be done to make FH2 even more popular.

Also the FH Facebook should be updated with the announcement of a weekly update + link each time.


To the rest of the people here on the forum: spread the word of FH out to your friends!

Everyone who is working on this mod is doing it to their full capability. The problem is that we could always use more hands from talented and skilled people who are willing to be as commited as the rest of the FH-team.

I was just saying that more advertisment on the internet like facebook ect, and inside the game, would be better.

short: what I wish for FH:
more adverd, more frequently, on more places.
morse codes seem to be funny, but people who are only partially interested wont look them up.

There should be some advertisement of upcoming FH2.4 ingame to attract players (new players) to visit FH page. Also I fully support idea of weakly updates on facebook with some images and links to the page (by this I mean announcements on an equal footing with home page, do not do something extra) as facebook "rule the world" nowadays...

seems my words found an ear.
Facebook, youtube, and twitter buttons were added to the frontpage.
There are 2 groups on Facebook ,
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Forgotten-Hope-2/267587761683 this is the group where the frontpage button leads to. edit: this group seems dead, last update by the group owner was about the update 2.3!!!!! on 6. Okt. 2010

What about some little community challenges? Something like for every 50 additional "likes" on facebook, we get a new screen of an upcoming map or something, or some little more Info. But beginning with the first screen at 500 or 1000 likes or whatever, so make it at first a challenge, with a reachable goal.
I saw somehting like this on another mod, they got more then 1500 likes since then.

Just a little example of what is possible.

PS: I dont have a facebook account, but for this I would think about it.

PR has this news update running at the bottom of the screen, like CNN ect. This would be nice to make people visit our forums more often.

Also the facebook needs a real admin. I mean the last post by the FH facebook owner was in oct, while the last post on Twitter was 6 days ago, which is ok.

For example: FHGN could be twitterd and posted on Facebook!

well, there is already "2.4 coming soon" when you start the game!
